A dream was realized when the seed of H.O.P.E. was sown among illiterate and low income groups of women in Vadagoan Sheri, a semi rural suburb of Pune (India), in 1974.
The root of H.O.P.E. is hope in creation, love for the human and faith for the divine. Its fruits are freedom for oneself and for one another, fellowship with nature and with the lonely and lost, and justice that combats social evils and creates a human society.
H.O.P.E. is today's beautiful plant and tomorrow's fruitful tree.
